(Formally Walser Crane Service) Was Purchased in June 2006 by Craig Breitbach of Cedar Valley Steel & Family of Companies and Rod Maas was the former manager of Walser Crane Service. With the combine experience of these companies they can handle all your crane lifting and rigging operations. We are located in Dubuque, Iowa which makes us able to accommodate the needs of the Tri-State Area with Hydraulic and Crawler Cranes ranging in size from 4 ton to 400 ton. All crane operators at A-1 Crane are certified crane operators (CCO) and our operators have completed The Qualified Riggers Training course. A-1 Crane has the combined experience of 40+ years in the business.

We have the equipment to get the job done safely and efficiently. We have fork trucks that range from 5000#’s to 22,500#’s. We are also equipped to meet all your hauling needs, light or heavy!
